Hey girls!
I am so embarrassed because this morning I was taking a shower and 5 minutes after my roommate left I heard a knock on the bathroom window, and so I ran outside and cried and called her to please come home. I felt like such a bitch because here she is trying to go to school and im scared again! Also, I have had to call my internship and tell them whats going on and I feel like such a let down. Even though, it isn't paid, I still feel like I owe it to them to be there. I am so distraught.
This morning I got a weird call asking all about Friday night and the guy said he was a cop, but our detective said he would never expect a cop to call us and so he came over about 1:30 to get to the bottom of this. He said nobody would call us but him and it couldn't have been a cop. Come to find out, it was a cop so I felt even dumber. I just feel so helpless right now and I feel like such a let down to my teachers, and everyone because I am so out of it right now. I decided that from now on im putting a smile on my face and moving on until something happens. The detective should have it under control anyway. My mom, and my roommates mom both want to come to Raleigh and whoop some ass, I mean because I do feel safe in a sense, just very scared too. I am not going to move because I love our house and I love that a detective is on our side.
My roommates boyfriend came over and we rode down every road, and saw a time warner cable truck. I glared into that bitch like there was no tomorrow...at this point, even I could whoop some ass! I just know it is the cable guy who was calling me because after my landlord called and blessed out TWC the calls stopped. I love TWC for one thing, and know they would be embarrassed to have employees like that. I just don't know what the deal with the Tahoe is.
What should I do?
Thanks for letting me rant, next week I know my posts will be back to crazy...funny...SAFE stories again! Thanks for all of the sweet comments that you sweet gals leave me all the time. I love blogging, it sure is a way to get how I feel out there!

I think your coping the best way you know how, and that is by letting others know you need help. It's also nice to have your blog as a venting place. It's a good thing that your explaining to your internship and teachers about your situation so they know it's just a rough patch. It will get better and no you don't have to be happy all the time, that's not normal. I hope this helps, keep your chin up. Have you ever thought of getting mace?
Do not feel embarrassed or anything else. I think you are handling things perfectly. And I completely understand your feeling that you always have to be "happy, etc." because my daughter is exactly the same way. I can remember her saying "I am never allowed to have a bad day because I am always the one who is upbeat, positive, smiling, etc." And I am completely "with your mom" on this one... I would be wanting to whip some ass, also. You might feel better if Mom does come for a visit :) Just continue to be cautious and careful. Re: calling your roomie, etc... My opinion is better to be safe than sorry. Hoping for your life to get back to normal SOON!! On the lighter side... - nothing like a pink/green painted baseball bat for protection to make a girl feel better :)
dont ever feel bad about the way you feel! you are so allowed to feel that way. and anyone that judges your emotional state is a jerk anyways!
You are handling things beautifully, I really hope that the police get to the bottom of this whole ordeal! I am sorry that they didn't take you seriously at first either!
you are supposed to be scared! don't let anyone pressure you into feeling guilty about feeling scared! keep your chin up!
It is totally ok for you to be scared! I would be so freaked out by all of this. I'm glad the police are involved. Get some pepper spray and a baseball bat to beat that jerk's butt with!
Well, you are handling it good. I would have made my dad come stay with me for a week or two!
You should never feel bad about being blue. Sometimes a girl just needs a good cry!!
Do you have any guy friends who might come and sleep on your sofa for a few days to just help you feel safer?
I remember about 15 years ago the Hubby and I were living in New Jersey and we bought a townhouse and were waiting for the completion of it so for about a month we had to stay in a hotel. Hubby always went to bed much earlier than me so I would go down to the lobby and read, make phone calls or whatever. The guy on the night shift was starting to get really friendly and we would occasionally talk. Back then I didn't have a cell phone and there was a pay phone down one of the halls and I would go call my mom and sit and talk for an hour and he would walk by once or twice every time I did this which was weird.
After awhile I knew he liked me and I told my husband "Just wait, when we move, he's going to start calling me, or stalking me or whatever" (because I knew he'd have our phone number from our hotel bill.
Sure enough, after we moved out of hotel and into our new townhome, a few days later phone calls started. When Hubby would answer, no one said anything. Even when I answered, no one said anything. I told Hubby, next time he calls say "Chris, we know it's you"...
He never called back. Something about being bold or saying their name or acting like you aren't scared really bothers them for some reason.
Anyway, good luck. That is really creepy.
I just reread the post and didn't make it clear that the guy did call back and Hubby did say "Chris, we know it's you"....and he never called back again.
Sorry about that.
