I would call the cable company and complain about those guys. I think I would have freaked out if that had happened to me. I am glad you had a good first week of school, I started school this week also.

Well sounds like you have everything sorted if you accidentally venture into the criminal world - the gangster / ex con with his how to survive in prison tips and the friendly judge! Your stories are so funny - you handle these situations with such aplomb!

Hey, Just wanted to say hello...not really sure how I happened upon your blog but I'm here and have enjoyed reading! Glad to hear that the bugs are at bay (hopefully the exterminator came) and now you have cable despite the sketchy installers.

Okay... can I just say you remained far more calm than I would have in the same situation with the ex-con/gangster man camped out in my living room while I'm attempting to read my book in my Lilly shift with the fish on it. Unbelievable. Really unbelievable.

LOVE your blog, arrived here via Misadventures of A Newlywed whom I adore, and will definitely be back. You are just a hoot-and-a-half! Sadly, you would have to be from the south *and* be really old to remember that expression! (Now, before people get all worked up about it; the being old part is 'sadly', not the southern part, so let's all remain calm, shall we?)

Anyway, have a splendid rest of the week and may all of the spiders be gone!
